the way we see young adults/ children

i walk down the street, and i see people make snap judgements about me, some people think that i do drugs, which i DON'T. other people think that i do poorly in school, because i have blond hair or because i'm RE-READING my book for school on the subway.

ITS JUST NOT FAIR.

i work my Fuck!ng ass off everyday, to get the respect the society denies me. and you know what? it is harder for me to get respect then it was for you. there is more competition, more drugs, more distractions and higher expectations of people my age then  ever before. it takes me hours to do my homework every night, but people still have the nerve to look at me and think i'm a slacker? no! people need to either start treating me like an adult, and giving me rewards, trusting me, giving me respect or else expect me to act like a child. it is that simple, i'm sick of being in some sort of sick pergutory, and so is the rest of my generation
